Frequently Asked Questions

Picture
Q: Why do I need a Premier or Business PayPal account?
A: Your fast food delivery website is a business not a personal website. All websites need a shopping cart service if you are going to sell things on it. We use PayPal. All fast food orders are paid by credit card through PayPal.

Q: Why do I need a PayPal debit/credit card?
A: You need to keep your business and personal affairs separate. A PayPal mastercard debit/credit card allows you to use your funds at the fast food restaurant just like your banking debit/credit card. You must have a PayPal account for 60 days to apply. If PayPal does not accept your application, you can use your bank account to make fast food purchases. You will need to transfer money from your PayPal account to your banking account. This may take 3 to 5 business days. So you will need to have funds in your bank account until the funds are transferred.

Q: What is a domain name?
A: A domain name is a way to identify and locate computers and resources connected to the Internet. No two organizations can have the same domain name. Every business that wants to be on the internet will register a domain name for use as their on-line identity or name that clients will use to access on-line services such as the organization's website or email system.

Q: Why can't I use my email address I already have?
A: Email addresses from aol, hotmail, gmail or yahoo do not look professional. Google Apps offers a business email address to match your website. Apply for one here. If you buy your domain name from Go Daddy, they offer you one free of charge.

Q: Where do I find zip codes for my city and state?
A: Click here, type in your city and state to find zip codes. We have a limit of 25.

Q: Can I hire my friends or family for my fast food delivery business?
A: Friends and family may bring many useful skills to your business. But it may also negatively affect your business. Hiring friends and family may allow for familial disputes and interactions to negatively affect the way your business runs and ruin your relationships.

Q: Do you take a percentage of my sale?
A: No, all sales are yours.

Q: How do I get paid?
A: Through your PayPal account once a customer makes a payment for an order.

Q: How much will I make per sale?
A: A delivery fee percentage total of the fast food order, sales tax and any funds left over that were not spent on food, minus PayPal's fees.

Q: How much are PayPal's fees?
A: No more than 2.9% of your total sale.

Q: What do I do if my customer refuses to pay?
A: You will not have an order until payment is made.

Q: What do you do to market my website?
A: We set keywords for your website according to your domain name and the fast food restaurants you select. It takes about two weeks for most search engines to find your website. We also advertise a bit for you by placing your website on our clients page. You can submit your website to google and bing.

Q: How do customers find my website?
A: You need to market your new fast food delivery business as well by passing out business fliers, business cards and posting classified ads.
